CEO and founder of Angeluss WSM, Aurora Angelucci (20), made history in MotoGP earlier in September.
On debut as a wildcard, Angeluss paired with female rider, María Herrera (26), during the Aragon Grand Prix, making headlines and historic waves throughout the Moto3 Paddock. An exciting time in motorsport.
An incredible movement from the young Aurora Angelucci, setting the future tone of the industry.
What started out as a dream is now the reality, changing the way sport is approached and accessed for young girls and women. A welcomed trend that has boomed in popularity over the last 24 months in all categories across the industry.
Angeluss is aiming to bring a woman rider into MotoGP, eliminating obstacles that have been responsible from holding women athletes back.
Commitment is incredibly important, which has seen an increase across motorsport categories such as W Series and Formula 1. Angeluss is committed, motivated and determined to carve a path for the future and the next generation of athletes, following similar to FIA’s Girls on Track initiatives.
Whilst we have even more female role models in the industry, Angeluss WMS is allowing there to be even more for girls daring to be different.
During the debut over the Aragon Grand Prix, Angeluss met with all the women currently working in the paddock. An encouraging sight for young girls dreaming of their future in motorsport.
As all women bunched together in front of Angeluss Women Sport Management’s hospitality, there is a glimmer of hope. The future of sport is here, and women are gaining experience and opportunities, getting the chance to showcase their talent.
Practice brought challenges, but with perseverance the girls clicked, showing potential as their cooperation soared. An essential flow of a team in high stressed and paced environments.
Through Angeluss, there is hope for every little girl out there watching with wide eyes. There are a variety of pathways being presented for women across the globe, encouraging involvement and enabling girls to chase after their motorsport dreams.
As a young woman from Australia who is eager to achieve my dreams in motorsport, hearing of Angeluss WMS’ achievements and progression has elicited a huge amount of excitement out of me. The future is bright.
Keep your eye out for Angeluss WMS. I’m sure there is so much more to come from them.
Until next time,
