Tayla Talks: the home of your sporting news and needs

About Me

Welcome! I’m Tayla

I’m so excited to have you here on this journey with me.

The love of motorsport started at a very young age. I knew it was where my heart belonged the first time I ever went to a race. There is something so special about the roar of loud engines, tyres screeching, and the competition of speed. As I grew, I loved reading and writing, and my motorsport passions only became stronger – so why not combine them?

I completed my HSC and graduated High School in 2020, moving on to further my academic career at University. I studied a Bachelor of Creative Industries (grad 2024), with minors in social media and journalism, and a major in creative writing and publishing. My dream has always been to work in the sporting world, so with the help of my studies, I have started building a professional portfolio in the form of a blog.

This blog began as a Social Media Content Curation and Creation university assignment in March 2022, however I decided to continue and use the platform to help enhance my skills, while showcasing them to a potential audience. The assignment was honestly the push I needed to get out of my comfort zone and get my work out there – to finally have something to show for in the industry.

As my biggest desire is to work in the highest levels of motorsport, I’m aware that the best way to be recognised is through networking and showcasing your skills. Through the perseverance of this blog in conjunction with my social media platforms, I hope to exploit my passions and abilities with the utmost professionalism I can muster.

Under Tayla Talks I am able to complete freelance communications, social media, and marketing work. To contact me, head to the navigation tab and put in your details or alternatively find me on LinkedIn; I will be sure to get back to you as soon as I can.
